Part B Supplies
Medicare Part B supply billing for skilled nursing facilities
Skilled nursing facilities can bill Medicare Part B for surgical dressings, ostomy, urological, and tracheostomy supplies, and splints and orthotics used by residents who are not in a covered Part A stay. Today, most of that reimbursement goes to supply vendors billing under their own NPI. CareComply bills it under your NPI instead, typically $5K–$20K per facility per month, with every order checked for compliance every day.

Replace the vendor, keep your supplier
CareComply replaces the Part B supply vendor that bills Medicare under its own NPI. Your facility keeps ordering supplies from its regular supplier, now for all residents, and we bill the Part B–eligible usage under your NPI. Your nurses keep documenting in PointClickCare the way they do today.
We read every order
Each supply order in your eMAR is parsed, and AI identifies the products it calls for, such as an alginate filler under a bordered foam dressing.
We map orders to billable products
Products are matched to their HCPCS codes and the LCD that governs them.
We count only eligible days
Usage is counted only on days the resident was in the building and Part B eligible.
We bill under your NPI
Claims go out under your facility’s NPI, and Medicare pays your facility directly.
Compliance and eligibility
Two daily reports keep every claim defensible
Part B Supply Compliance Report
Flags supply orders missing a qualifying diagnosis, dressing size, defined frequency, wound location, or supporting assessment, and orders that exceed weekly utilization limits.
Part B Supply Eligibility Report
Lists residents who should start, continue, or stop supplies based on payer and diagnosis rules, including Medicare Advantage disenrollments.
Wound debridement audit
Collects clinician decisions on debridement so wound orders are billed correctly.
